We had a huge pool, hot tub, and numerous gathering areas all to ourselves – no one but our family! The museum in Rodeo and a road trip to the breathtaking mountains is a must see with very friendly local people and park rangers. Our family bought food at the Walmart in Demming; however, we found out that Schwan will cater on-line and bring food to PPR.
The owner and property manager were very accommodating to our needs.
Congratulations on keeping the vision in harmony with the land.
Outstanding Ambiance Guest: French Connection(United States, France, Germany, Australia)Date of Stay: 05/30/11 Review Submitted: 06/08/11 My wife and I were married in a small ceremony outside the States. We therefore organized a week-long marriage/reunion at the Painted Pony Resort to allow everyone to meet and celebrate.
The only thing that we would add would be a collapsible crib.
Our group of twenty-two slept comfortably and privately.
Our group is serious about their food, and relishes the time we share at the table, so our ability to enjoy our dinners in the open air with such wonderful scenery is certainly one of the highlights of our time together.
The pool and hot tub did wonders to relax the crowd.
We had 20 people at our reunion and the resort had more than enough room for all six families.
The Wedding Bungalow was great for our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) with room to spare. The weather and scenery was terrific, including the beautiful night skies.
Glen (the owner) and Bruce (the property manager) were extremely accommodating, helpful, and gracious.
